Description
The popularity of Colourpoint's full colour album on the 'Wee Donegal', published in 1998, exceeded all expectations. Since then, Ron White of ColourRail has discovered more previously unseen County Donegal material. Encouraged by ColourRail, Robert Robotham and Joe Curran (son of the last manager of the County Donegal) have now combined forces to produce a second stunning colour album with over 150 images of the locomotives, carriages, railcars and infrastructure of Ireland's most popular narrow gauge railway and the largest narrow gauge system in these islands. The book includes track diagrams of the major stations and 4mm scale drawings of a selection of rolling stock, sufficient to enable the modeller to recreate a 'Wee Donegal' goods or steam passenger train, shunt with the diesel tractor Phoenix, or run Railcar 19 to Killybegs with a trailer and red wagon!Details
